On May
27-29, 1892 twenty-nine churches in Calhoun County met at the First
Baptist Church in Jacksonville to form an Association. The delegates
led by E. T. Smyth moved that the Association be known as the Calhoun
County Baptist Association. Today CBA and
its churches are involved in meeting the physical, emotional, and
spiritual needs of people in Calhoun County, the state of Alabama,
the US, and the world. |
