Calhoun Christian Women's Job Corps

Seeking New Directions in Women's Lives

Calhoun Christian Women's Job Corps (CWJC) provides a Christian context in which women in need are equipped for life and employment; and a missions context in which women help women. Situated in a tree-lined valley of the Appalachian foothills, the area of Calhoun County includes diverse backgrounds. Though the women are from different backgrounds, they do have one thing in common—need! Calhoun CWJC seeks new directions in women's lives through training, mentoring, Bible study, and enthusiastic support.

Computer and life skills classes are taught each semester. Each participant is paired with a mentor and has Bible study together with her mentor. The main campus for CWJC is located at 401 East 22nd Street in downtown Anniston.

The next semester will start soon. If you are interested in Christian Women's Job Corps ministry, please contact Millicent Monk or Mary Stinson at (256) 237-6188.
